Jeff purchased the car in 2010. His local body shop sorted all the panel work and gave the car a full respray. However, after just 200 miles of motoring, Jeff’s own handiwork on a mechanical problem proved less than perfect and he chose to let the experts sort it out to his satisfaction. This included new bearings and oil seals and a crankshaft regrind.
While the engine was out he chose to have the gearbox rebuilt as the gear change was not as smooth as it should have been.
The car has had nine owners but has been a “show” car since 1991 judging by the mileage its covered since that time.
