As you would expect, this Ford only day at the picturesque Castle Combe Race Circuit, neat Chippenham featured a special parade to mark the 50th anniversary of the Capri. As well as our own contingent of Mk1s and a lone Mk3, we were joined by any other Capri present who wished to take to the track. There appeared to be around 20 to 25 cars in total. It would have been nice to get 50 on track but then, unlike the previous weekend - the glorious Easter weekend - the weather was cold damp and extremely windy. All those who turned up deserve praise for venturing out with their superb vehicles and we could at least take heart from the fact that the rain, for the most part, stayed away.
The pictures show the vehicles on display on the Club stand.
