With such glorious "classic car displaying" weather so far this summer, it had to happen that we'd experience the opposite end of the scale.  Sadly, this year's Old Ford Rally at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon was the event to suffer.  That said, huge praise must go to the exhibitors across all the models for turning up in large numbers in such wet conditions.  Within our own Club we mustered a display of six cars whose colours brightened an otherwise largely grey day.  My thanks to Gareth, Clive, Margaret & Dave, Mick and Pete for venturing out in the rain with their cars and helping erect and collapse the gazebo which we proved is waterproof!
Thanks also to Michael who as well as being a Club member is also one of the event marshalls - he did look rather "waterlogged" at one point, but soldiered on regardless.
