The Club will be joining forces with the Capri Mk2 Register to give a display of nine cars across the Mk1 and Mk2 ranges.  The stand will be "themed" on a February 1969 "launch" show room, as dictated by Ford to their dealers at the time.
The Club are providing five of the cars on show - a Silver Fox 1300L, a Fern Green 1600L, a Red 1600GT XLR, an Amber Gold 2000GT XLR and a Sebring Red 3000GXL.  The first three cars could easily have been in a showroom back at launch in 1969 and - when the two litre launched a few months later, the 2000GT we have is one of the very first.  Representing the facelift, the three litre is a superb example.  So, you can see the full engine range, an array of colours (mostly early) and as a bonus you'll see "what came next" - the now relatively rare Mk2s.
