When Malcolm’s son, James, graduated from university he asked what he’d like as a present.  He said an old car that they could both work on and spend quality time together restoring.  Being a long term “blue badge” enthusiast, Malcolm went looking and found their car in Essex - home of the Ford.  It was first registered on 1st January 1973.  They have owned it since July 2009.  They have recently had some work done to bring it back up to scratch.  Malcolm says It’s great having this as a hobby and getting to spend quality family time with his son.  They intend to do a few shows when possible, but that gets harder fitted around two work schedules.  The car is a delight, obviously nothing like a modern car, but certainly attracts interest from all ages when out and about.
