Saturday 10th August was the date of the Club's 2024 National Day and, to spread it's venue throughout the country, to give a larger number of members the opportunity to attend with their cars, the Great British Car Journey museum was selected at Ambergate in the heart of the Peak district in Derbyshire.

A number of cars made their debuts on the Club scene including a Daytona Yellow 3000GT which had covered a handful of miles since its restoration.

Regretably, the British weather didn't play ball and we endured several hours of light drizzle before the skies brightened in mid afternoon.

The weather was of no consequence though as all the museum exhibits were undercover and it had a spacious cafe.

For those who did remain outdoors, the Club's new gazebo proved more than up to the task of keeping them dry.

Perhaps as a result of the weather, attenance was down on what was expected but, nonetheless, an array of 18 cars provided a fantastic display.
