The Capri is one of the few classic Fords from the 1960s and 1970s that Steve had not previously owned therefore when he saw this one for sale in a local advert in 2002 he bought it with a view to restoring it. It had been owned by the same Somerset farming family for 30 years from new. After he bought it he garaged it until 2007 when the restoration started. This included two new wings, a new bonnet, a new vinyl roof and a re-spray. It was completed and back on the road in 2008.
