Sunday 29th August saw the return of the popular Knebworth House Classic Car Show.  A two day event over the Bank holiday weekend, the Club - in association with our friends at the Capri Mk2 Register - had a stand of Mk1s, Mk2s and Mk3s on the Sunday.
The event was under new management and we were suitably impressed with their organisational efforts - ensuring a stand space was allocated and clearly marked out for us in advance with the marshalls helpfully guiding us straight to it.  The plot was generous and we were able to cater for a couple of other Capris who preferred to display with our group rather than on their own.
It was noticeable - but I guess not surprising - that the auto jumble was much reduced.  Hopefully the organisers will have better luck attracting traders as confidence post Covid grows.  They certainly deserve success given their organisational efforts.
From our Club we had five examples on display.  The humble early 1300L was the eye catcher and great to see such a car being brought back to life - a massive credit to its proud owner.
