With three stunning examples, in every respect, provided by Club members, our stand was one of the most colourful on display in the entire show.
Adrian’s Piri Piri Red Perana always attracts attention and the NEC show was no exception.
John’s perfectly restored Olympic Blue RS3100 has to be one of the best RS examples around and the colour enhances its appeal.
Mark’s Daytona Yellow 1600XL facelift completed the trio and ably demonstrated to enthusiasts the results which can be achieved when you set your mind to restoring a barn find. Mark’s car appeared on the Club’s stand at the Restoration Show in March 2017 and it was good to see it now in concours condition following its recommissioning.
There were plenty more Mk1 Capris to be found elsewhere in the show. Not least, Club member Karen’s Sunset Red example which featured on the Club stand in 2021 but was back this year in the Megquirs Concours.
Special thanks, once again, to Alan who conveyed much of the stand to the show in his Mk3 Cortina which was also displayed on the Mk3 Cortina Club stand.
