SCV387G - 1600L
Keith, from the Hastings area, has owned his fern green early 1600L car since
2003. He's owned capris for ten years having had a Mk1 in the past and more
recently three Mk3s. When he saw his present car though he knew he'd be
buying it. Manufactured in March 1969, the car has covered a relatively
low 75,000 miles in the 37 years since rolling off the Halewood production line.
With a black interior, it has the L spec bench seat in the rear but has gained a
GT centre console somewhere over the years. For practicality - Keith has a
young son - the car has rear seat belts utilising the fixing points originally
installed in production by Fords but so rarely used.
